The Tommy Coyle boxing academies are a safe environment for 5-17 year olds to learn new skills in boxing, make friends and stay fit and healthy.
The Tommy Coyle Foundation has two academies; one based in West Hull (Bean Street) and one in East Hull (Geneva Way). The academies are open to all abilities, and provide a friendly and open atmosphere. We educate the young people how to work hard, have a plan B and how this relates to achieving their goals. We welcome any young person that has never experienced boxing and maybe wants to try it for the first time or the more advanced young boxer that wants to develop their boxing skills. Or maybe you are only interested in coming along and getting fit. All of our sessions are open to both boys and girls.
The age groups are split in to two; under 11s sessions and 12-17 years old. The younger age group work on the basics of boxing, giving them a good grounding if they are looking to progress further.
The older age group are taken through the skills of boxing, teaching them to be the best possible boxer they can be, and giving them the discipline and drive if they wish to develop further.
All of our coaches are fully qualified, passionate about what they teach and provide participants with the support and guidance they need.
At the Tommy Coyle boxing academies, we pride ourselves on treating each young person as an individual; setting them goals to suit them and their abilities in order for them to succeed. But don’t just take our word for it; come down to one of the gyms and see for yourself.
